Seeking Vendors, Artisans and Crafters

Juneteenth Celebration, Saturday, June 21, 2008
12 noon - 8:00 p.m.

An Outdoor Family Event
Located at Freedom Park, Lexington Park, Maryland
Adjacent to the Three Notch Theater

Dear Vendors, Artisans, and Crafters:

Enclosed is a contract for vendor space for the 2008 Juneteenth Celebration. To reserve your space, complete and return the contract with a deposit of ½ of the total vendor fee by March 15, 2008.

On Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 12 noon - 8:00 p.m., the Unified Committee for Afro-American Contributions, Inc. and the Board of Commissioners for St. Mary's County will host a Juneteenth Celebration in Freedom Park, located at Tulagi Place and Three Notch Road, adjacent to the Three Notch Theater (21744 South Coral Drive, Lexington Park, MD 20653).

This is a family event; no alcohol will be permitted on the grounds. The Juneteenth committee reserves the right to approve/disapprove displays, booths, or sale of items prior to or on the day of the event. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this grand event. Initial deposit due by March 15, 2008 and balance due May 15, 2008. Space is limited; don't hesitate to reserve your spot. We look forward to seeing you there! VENDOR FEES:

  • FOOD
  •     LARGE VENDOR    $350 [select dinners & sandwiches, etc.]
  •     SMALL VENDOR    $175 [limited entrees & snack foods, etc.]
  •     SNACK VENDOR    $ 75 [one type, for example ice cream]

  • RETAIL
  •     LARGE VENDOR    $225 Larger than 10' x 10' with 8' table and two chairs
  •     SMALL VENDOR    $125 10' x 10' or smaller; 8' table and two chairs
  •     ARTS & CRAFTS   $ 75 8' table sized space, 8' table and two chairs
  •     NON-PROFIT      FREE* for 501C3, Government Agencies; no sales allowed
             *If you provide your own table and chair; $25 for 8' table and two chairs.
