Sarah Alberta Mason Milburn
born 1926
Sarah Albert Mason Milburn was interviewed by Jeanette Pettit on Dec 6, 2018 for the Unified Committee for Afro-American Contributions Oral History Project. Mrs. Milburn came up in a large family with 13 children in the Redgate, Maryland area. Her family farmed tobacco. She attended Our Lady’s Chapel. Mrs. Milburn went to the segregated, one-room school [#2 ?] and Maryland Springs. Mrs. Milburn would marry at 19 and raised their five children. She worked at the Base, doing housekeeping.
