Interpretive Signs
 

Beginning in 2000, UCAC has researched, designed, and installed interpretive signage in Elmer Brown Freedom Park and John G. Lancaster Park - both located in Lexington Park, Maryland.  We encourage you to visit these sites. Maybe your ancestor's name or story is included? UCAC also partnered with St. Mary's County Museum Division to install interpretive signs at Drayden School. Currently UCAC is working with Historic St. Mary's City Museum to expand the Struggle for Freedom exhibit (Brome Howard Inn).
